Becky Viers reflects as she stands outside her Willow Green trailer home, which was consumed in a blaze Sunday night due to an electrical issue. Ms. Viers, her daughters Alicia Viers, and Hope Cousino, 13, great-niece Aubreye Raddatz, 7-months, and their 3 cats and one dog all made it out of the home safely and are staying with family. Ms. Viers say the community outpouring of support has been a blessing. An account has been set up at 5/3rd Bank, Monroe Public Schools is helping with fundraising efforts, and a spaghetti dinner fundraiser is planned, as well. Unfortunately, the family has seen some of the bad in people along with the good. Looters have stolen some treasured personal items, most notably her parents' wedding rings, which she had planned to pass on to her daughter Hope for her wedding.
